Repository Policy

Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research allows authors to self-archive different versions of their manuscripts—preprints, accepted versions, and final published articles—across various repositories. This policy aligns with SHERPA/RoMEO and major indexing requirements.

Authors May, at Any Time, Self-Archive:

  • Preprint version — the version of the article before peer review
  • Postprint version — the final author-accepted manuscript after peer review, before publisher formatting
  • Publisher's PDF version — the final published version of the article

Digital Archiving

We issue Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all published articles through Crossref. A copy of each article’s metadata and full-text (where applicable) is submitted to Crossref to ensure proper citation, discoverability, and long-term preservation. The Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research is committed to the long-term preservation of its content. All articles published by the journal are preserved by PORTICO. In addition, journal encourage authors to archive the published version of their articles on their relevant institutional repositories as well as other appropriate websites.
